“I got tired of paying for software that made running my business harder than it needed to be. I wanted something that worked the way I actually work—on the job, in my truck, and from my phone. So I built it.”
Benjamin Toland · Owner, Mr. Steam Carpet Care, Utah
Veikti started at a working carpet cleaning company in Utah, and that is where every feature is tested on real jobs.
Built so each business will get its own private workspace. Other businesses on Veikti can’t see your customers, prices or invoices.
Room-by-room square footage, stair counts, a whole-job minimum and discounts. No hourly-trade templates to work around.
Issued invoices keep permanent numbers. Revisions and voids keep their history, and payments are checked with Square before they’re marked paid.
All of this is in use on real jobs right now.
Day and week views with arrival windows, and a warning before you double-book.
Room-by-room square feet, stairs and a job minimum, priced as you type.
Customers review and sign the quote on their phone. No login needed.
Automatic day-before reminders, and On my way in one tap. STOP is honored.
Card payments and tips post to the invoice on their own, with a receipt texted to the customer.
Snap before and after shots on the job and keep them with the work order.
Push alerts on your phone when a payment comes in, and a list of the day’s jobs each morning.
When an invoice is paid in full, the job is marked complete.
Record them on the invoice, or link a card payment taken in the Square app.
Search customers, mark them residential or commercial, and see every past job.
Send the invoice link either way. Customers open it on their phone.
Tap an address to open it in Google Maps. Log each day’s miles and export the year.
Log expenses by category, and get a reminder before the truck or machine is due for service.
Sales this year, unpaid balances and upcoming work on one screen. Light or dark.
Veikti is a web app built phone-first. Open it in Safari. You can add it to your Home Screen, and it still needs a connection to load.
In progress means a limited trial, not a finished feature. Planned items are not started.
A limited trial can draft an expense from a receipt photo. It is not on for every account, and it is not finished.
Your own workspace, your business name on texts and invoices, and your own Square and texting connections.
Separate access for the owner, the office and techs.
Track more than one truck or machine, each with its own service schedule.
Launch the app with no connection at all, not just keep working once it’s open.
Plans can change. Nothing here is a promise of a ship date.
Public sign-ups aren’t open yet. Joining the list is free and doesn’t ask for a card.
Veikti was born out of running a working carpet cleaning company, and it is still developed and tested there on real jobs. We are preparing to welcome other businesses. Public subscriptions are not available yet. Join the early-access list and we will email you when a spot is ready.
No. Veikti runs in your phone’s browser, and you can add it to your iPhone Home Screen so it opens like an app. It also works on a laptop or tablet.
The app needs a connection to open, and there is no offline install. Once it is open, measurements and job changes save on the phone and sync when you’re back online. If two devices both changed the same work, Veikti asks which copy to keep. Opening with no signal at all is still planned, not built.
Customers with a mobile number get a reminder the day before and a notice if the job is rescheduled, as long as automatic reminders are on. On my way, Running late, Started and Completed are one-tap texts you choose to send. When an invoice is paid in full, the customer gets a receipt by text. Anyone who replies STOP stops getting texts.
Square for card payments: customers can pay the invoice link by card (Apple Pay and Google Pay too, when turned on) and add a tip, and payments post to the invoice automatically. A card taken in the Square app can be linked too. Quo sends customer texts. Address lookup and Google Maps links are built in. Connecting your own accounts will be part of setup when sign-ups open.
Carpet cleaning is the start, including rooms and stairs. Upholstery, tile and grout, and rug cleaning are the closest fit. Other home-service businesses can join the list, but not every trade’s workflow is built yet.
Built so each business will get its own private workspace. Your customers, prices and invoices are kept separate, and other businesses on Veikti can’t see them.
Tell us about your crew. We’ll email you if there’s a place for another business. No date, and no card.
